Help us name and claim cultural artifacts of the Philippines by writing about them.

Our mission is simple, we want to name, claim, analyze, and collect cultural artifacts from the Philippines, and its diasporas. We welcome articles by anyone who identifies as Filipino. Topics could include physical objects and artifacts, as well as intangible artifacts such as — food, oral history, systems, and ways of life.

We’re looking beyond just what these objects and artifacts are, but want an analysis of how these objects and practices contribute positively to our experiences as Filipinos. We think that this is one of the most meaningful first steps that we can take to understand the complexity of Filipino society and in doing so we hope it can inspire strategic planning for our future.

We think every Filipinx voice matters, so if you have something you want to write about in regards to these topics please send us an email at pangngalan@lowercaseinnovation.com, with 1–3 sentences of what the cultural artifact you want to write about and why it’s important.
